The pilot must hold at a minimum a current Private Pilot certificate with a PIC A-320 aircraft type rating, and

− A satisfactorily completed pilot-in-command proficiency check in an aircraft that is type certificated for more than one required pilot flight crewmember or is turbojet-powered, within the last 12 months,
and a satisfactory proficiency check in the A-320 aircraft within the last 24 months.
