A320 UPGRADE

This course is the perfect solution for pilots with prior experience in the A320 and seeking to earn the type rating on their FAA License. 

Course Prerequisites:

  •  The trainee must provide acceptable documentation showing he/she is currently serving as a A320 SIC
  • The trainee must be holder of a valid (unexpired) unrestricted A320 type rating and provide acceptable proof of currency in the A320 within the last 35 months.

  • Also the trainee seeking an Airline Transport Pilot certificate concurrent with a A320 type rating must have one of the following:

    • US Commercial Pilot certificate with unrestricted multiengine land and instrument ratings;
    • Foreign Airline Transport Pilot or Commercial pilot certificate with instrument privileges and an unrestricted multiengine land or unrestricted multiengine type rating.

    •The trainee seeking an Airline Transport Pilot certificate only must have a US Commercial Pilot certificate with instrument rating and an unrestricted A320 type rating.

    •The trainee seeking a A320 type rating on a certificate other than an Airline Transport Pilot, must have a US pilot certificate with unrestricted multiengine land and instrument ratings.
